Visiting a farms is a good way to know the Marajó environment, mainly the several birds springs. On the Ilha de Marajó side to the sea, there are beaches with small white sand dunes and coconut palms. The regional culture is present on the presentations of folkloric dances, like lundu and carimbó. Marajó Island is larger than some countries in Europe all together. Large lakes and tiny rivers rich in fish, which cut through the green vegetation in a sort of trail which terminates with the meeting of the waters of the rivers Tocantins and Amazon river creats a spectacle with takes one’s breath away; a huge tidal wave produced as a result of the struggle between the sweet and salt waters.
