Our travel guides and staff
 |
 | On all our programmes offered our travel guides are exclusively available to you 24 hours a day. No other participants or groups will be booked to your group, you do the tour alone with your travel guide. Our air-conditioned vehicles are also exclusively at your disposal for the duration of your tour. We have, without a doubt, the best tour guides in the northern Pantanal working for us. They will show you the original landscape and beauty of the Pantanal, without intruding on nature and its cycle. No animals and plants will be touched and put on display by our guides. On principle, we are against interfering with nature and mainstream mass tourism.

Pedro-PauloEnglish-speaking; he was born in 1969 on a Fazenda in the Pantanal and has practically spent his whole life here. He knows every spot and every stone in the northern Pantanal. After school he began studying biology in Cuiabá, but had to drop out in order to be able to feed his family. He is married and has two children. Pedro Paulo has a recognized degree as a travel guide and since 1999 has worked exclusively for us. Due to his extensive knowledge Pedro Paulo is one of the best travel guides in the Pantanal. A clear sign for this is his being mentioned in the Dumont travel guidebook on Brazil, as well as the fact that many other agencies have been trying to enlist his services.

Lunch in PoconéAs a rule, our customers make an intermediate stop in Poconé (the last town before the Pantanal) to have lunch in a typically Brazilian family (in case of arrival in Cuiabá by 12:30).
Savour the unique Mato Grosso cuisine by Dona Dalva and enjoy the hospitality.
Dona Dalva and Senhor Antonio are looking forward to your visit.
| Note
Our tour guides are among the best in the Pantanal and know their way around the flora and fauna of the Pantanal, as well as many bird species. However, of course our guides cannot know all 650 bird species or every animal or plant respectively by their (Latin) names, since none of them are trained biologists or ornithologists.
Our vehicles:
Our vehicles (5 VW minivans, 1 Fiat Palio Adventure Locker and 1 Fiat Doblo Adventure Locker) are all as good as new, very robust and comfortable to travel in. They are all insured and ideal for the local road conditions. They were bought in 2008 and 2009 (every two years we completely renew our fleet of cars), have air conditioning, a car radio/stereo and a first aid kit. All our vehicles are fuelled with ethanol. In case of larger groups, a van or bus will be rented.
