Tour 5.1: Exclusive jaguar safari

only from May to October (GPS: 17° 21' 46" S; 056° 46' 42" W)



After lunch you go on another boat tour to track wild animals like jaguars (about 3 hours). On this trip you visit an indigenous family that lives on the shore of Rio Cuiabá and only on what nature provides. As their guest you have a little refreshment and get a good impression of the simple life of the Pantaneiros. Return to the lodge. Dinner.



 

Note:

Due to the long distance and driving time, this tour is only possible if you arrive in Cuiabá at noon and depart at noon/afternoon, as well. Otherwise the itinerary has to be altered and extended accordingly (stop and overnight stay at different lodge along the Transpantaneira). This programme is only feasible from May to October.
