Chapada dos Guimarăes - Amazon area - Pantanal - incl. sightseeing flight about the Pantanal

Mato Grosso is the only federal state in Brazil which unites three ecosystems into himself: the amazon rain forest, the Cerrado of Chapada dos Guimarăes and the Pantanal. This tour offers the visitor the opportunity without wasting much time with long flights (to Manaus or Belem) to get to know three ecosystems in a tour. 


1st day: Cuiabá - Chapada dos Guimarăes

Collection at the airport in Cuiabá by our guidebook. Strassen asphalted about 70 km of journey to Chapada dos Guimarăes. Here you spend a night in the Hotel Turismo or in the Pousada Penhasco (depending on choice). You experience the single beauty of these panel mountains. In the afternoon (depending on time of arrival) visit of the National park. During the walk by the highland one has the opportunity to take a bath under one of the many waterfalls. Visit of the cave Casa de Pedra (with an underground river), view of Morro de Săo Jerônimo (860 metres). 


2nd day: Chapada dos Guimarăes - Amazon rain forest

After the breakfast of the next day it works to the Centro Geodesico (centre of South America). The single vantage point lies exactly in the middle of South America. One sees there more than 100 km far at a good sight. We go to the little place Chapada dos Guimarăes where the lunch waits for us in a restaurant (local restaurant). Many Cuiabaner have her little weekend house in this village. Through this it is very busy at the weekends. After lunch journey of 300 km to the northern amazonischen rain forest. Lunch in a local restaurant. Cheque-into in the Jardim d' Amazônia Lodge. Welcome drink at the Swimmingpool. After dinner small walk be able to you listen with that to the noises of the amazonischen rain forest around the near situated lake. Overnight stay. 


3rd day: Amazon rain forest

After the breakfast it works along the "bird way", Angelim-Trail, to the observation of the wild animals. Lunch in the Lodge. In the afternoon it goes with miscellaneous, regional fish the swimming and snorkels in the natural spring water. The sunset geniessen you at the "Arara lagoon". Dinner and overnight stay. 


4th day: Amazon rain forest

After the breakfast it works to the deep jungle! You will get to know the flora and fauna of the rain forest here and good chances have to see tapirs and many miscellaneous birds. You find out the tour is then continued with a boat trip at the Rio Claro the "Anaconda lake" and swim on the beach of Palmeira. After that a picnic and relaxation follows in the hammock. Listen to observation of the jungle and the noises after lunch canoe journey at the Rio Claro with his different wild animals. Dinner and overnight stay in the Lodge.


5th day: Amazon rain forest - Pantanal

Pantanal have breakfast and departure removed 420 km (of this 310 km asphalts and streets does not asphalt 110 km) into this. You take the lunch in a local restaurant. During the journey you can recognize the transitions between the amazonischen rain forest and the Pantanal - become it - stops inserted again and again depending on wish - very well so that you can take a photograph of the wonderful landscape. Arrival in a Lodge at the Transpantaneira. A small walk is still scheduled if time is still available. Dinner and overnight stay in the Lodge.


       


6th day: Pantanal

After the breakfast it goes Clarinho to the Rio where you will discover the shores, the woods and the mangroves with canoes. You can with a little luck see the gigantic river otter which is in these waters at home. After that we have great Spass when fishing piranhas. Lunch. Further small excursions in the surroundings after lunch. After dinner follows a small night walk around this one watch south hemispheres sky and listen to nature. Overnight stay in the Lodge. 


7th day: Pantanal

Just after the breakfast we sit down on the horses and ride through countries, woods and rivers on the property of the Lodge. After lunch walk. Our guide explains the ecosystems to us. Just after dinner a night safari follows and perhaps you can see nocturnal animals like the tapir, raccoon and the cancer eating fox. Overnight stay in the Lodge. 


8th day: Pantanal - Cuiabá

You will get up before sunrise and experience the morning atmosphere of nature at a small walk. You can hear and see the colours and sounds of the animal kingdom. After the breakfast time at the liberal disposal, because the transfer to Cuiabá to the airport or to your booked hotel in Cuiabá goes just as after lunch or earlier. Possible for more days and prolongation days to Nobres, Chapada dos Guimarăes or prolongation in the Pantanal, on inquiry.

Our travel guides belong to the best guidebooks in the Pantanal and know about the flora and fauna of the Pantanal very well, know also many species of bird. Of course our guidebooks cannot know all 600 to 690 species of bird or all animal and plant species in the Pantanal with name Latin since it is not a trained biologists or ornithologists. Can on request we, however, provide you with an English-speaking, trained biologist with additional education ornithology. These guides trained especially are more expensive, however, and ask a higher price, are not employed with us either but are engaged extra for your tour. The surcharge for a trained biologist/ornithologist amounts to 100.00 euros per day and per group at this journey (not per person). Please indicate at booking whether you wish such a travel guide! 


What you should take along?
