Tour 9: Three Ecosystems in 1 Tour - Amazonas - Chapada dos Guimarães – Nobres - Pantanal

Mato Grosso is the only federal state in Brazil with the three grössten ecosystems of South America: the amazon rain forest, the Cerrado of Chapada dos Guimarães and the Pantanal.

This tour offers the visitor the unique opportunity without wasting much time with 940 km long flights to get to know three ecosystems in one tour. You in addition go to the Lagoa Azul and Gruta Azul more beautifully and more untouchedly than Bonito in the southern Pantanal near by Nobres.

1st day: Cuiabá – Amazon Rain forest (São José do Rio Claro)

4th day: Amazon Rain forest – Nobres (Lagoa Azul) – Bom Jardim

After the breakfast we go to the Lagoa Azul from Nobres (driving time about 3 hours) nearby. Have lunch in the "Pousada Recanto Ecologico" after that since Lagoa Azul. 5-7th day: Bom Jardim – Chapada dos Guimarães

After the simple breakfast in the "Pousada Bom Jardim" we go to Chapada dos Guimarães in a completely different nature. Here you spend two nights in the "Pousada Penhasco". You experience the single beauty of these panel mountains. In the afternoon (depending on time of arrival) visit of the National park. During the walk by the highland one has the opportunity to take a bath under one of the many waterfalls. Visit of the cave "Casa de Pedra" (with an underground river), view of "Morro de São Jerônimo" (860 metres).

After the breakfast of the next day it works to the Centro Geodesico (centre of South America). The single vantage point lies exactly in the middle of South America. 7-8th day: Pantanal - Pousada Piuval

11th day: Fazenda Santa Tereza – Cuiabá
