Canoa Quebrada, known as the pearl of the east coast of Ceará, Brazil, is an international touristic beach 165 km from Fortaleza, in the county of Aracati.

With 365 sunny days along year, this little fishermen village in the middle of dunes and falesias with a fantastic view, is become a touristic attraction with excellent hotel structures.

The Tourism Authority of Ceará puts Canoa Quebrada as the most important tourist attraction after Fortaleza. The region’s climate is less dry semi-arid. The average annual temperature is around 24ºC – with an average annual high of 32 ºC, and a low of 2 1ºC. The sun is present almost all year long, with rains only between March and May.

Pousada Village Long Beach (***)


The Village Long Beach is located in Canoa Quebrada 165 km south of Fortaleza. 200 meters from the beach and 600 meters from Canoa Quebrada’s famous main street Broadway. Village Long Beach offers visitors 20 chalets and 7 apartments.

All chalets have king size bed, cable TV, mini-bar , hot water, air conditioning, ceiling fan, varanda with hammock. Some chalets offer a private lookout from the roof of the chalet giving clients a breathtaking panoramic view. The pousada has a bar, 4 swimming pools, 2 for adults and 2 for children and green areas.
