All our Pantanal-Tours included in the packages will be carefully adapted to the actual situation of the flora and fauna according to the current water level and weather conditions. Your guide will lead you to the places with the largest variety of animals and plants also taking into consideration the physical fitness of the participants. Moreover, this package includes accommodation only in such lodgings that actually are not affected by flood and therefore offer many possibilities of watching the flora and fauna. Many trips depend on the current water level and the actual situation of the flora and fauna and therefore are subject to individual changes by the guide.
The tours contain walks through the beautiful landscape – on foot, by horse, by boat and partially by car. You will be accompanied by a qualified biologist (guide) who will be at your disposal 24 hours a day.
For every booking of our comfort pile between November 2006 and March 2007 as of 2 persons you get ausser for one unforgettable nature experience unites, including sightseeing flight over the Pantanal, under a professional leadership (as of 5 nights stay), duration 1 hour!
For bookings including more than 3 stays overnight the accommodations will be changed after some days. All Fazendas/Pousadas have clean rooms with air conditioning/ventilator bath/toilet facilities – some of them also have a swimming pool. At longer stays the accommodations will be changed two or three times in order to give you an extensive overview of the Pantanal. According to the type of tour you booked and taking into consideration your desires you can stay for 1 night or more in the table mountains of Chapada dos Guimarães. The order first Pantanal and afterwards Chapada depends on the local conditions as well as on your time of arrival respectively departure. A weekend is most suitable for visiting the Chapada. In case of later departure from Cuiabá the visit to the "Cidade de Pedra" will take place in the evening of the 4th day and the trip to the national park on the 5th day.

1st day: PANTANAL – Cuiabá – Pousada Piuval
Collection at the airport in Cuiabá. Drive from 100 km to to Poconé in asphalt streets, lunch in Poconé. In the connection about 10 km of journey to first accommodation, the Pousada Piuval. Occupancy of the rooms. The possibility that you make yourself a little fresh consists in the connection, a small boat tour at the near situated Piuval lake or a riding tour on is still possible for the late afternoon. After dinner another night safari is carried out for the observation of night active animals. Overnight stay in big, comfortable rooms with air conditioner, ventilator, TV, bath/shower and mini-bar.
2nd day: PANTANAL – Pousada Piuval
Still experiencing hustle and bustles of the many birds toward 5 o'clock sun rising tour around which nearby the Lodge before sunrise. The Pantanal wakes up and the day starts, a tremendously beautiful play of nature. After the breakfast we are this one about the variety of the vegetation as well as birds and animals on a walk get the first impression. We have to watch the possibility among others nests of the Jabiru stork as well as the blue Hyazinthara and further species of bird here. One of the best options finding out the Pantanal after the breakfast ride to horse. After lunch departure to the next Lodge.
2nd to 4th day: PANTANAL – Puma-Lodge
You drive about 95 km along the Transpantaneinara to the Puma Lodge. Away several stops are inserted at the Transpantaneira to watch some species of animal and bird on the right and on the left the Transpantaneira. The Puma Lodge the kilometre item 106 means to the Transpantaneira and was opened in July 2007 (operated solarly, no current). A population of 30-40 Hyazinth macaws has been nearby this Lodge for many years, the best in the early ones morning or late evening hours have to be watched. You do from here a tour after Porto Jofre (40 km with the vehicle after that with the boat), the end-point of the Transpantaneira, at a stay from 2 nights 1-2 times to track down jaguars living free from here. You have the biggest chances here to see jaguars living free. A single experience and adventure (probability: 75 %, no guarantee however). The Pantanal is as well as not developed by the tourism at all, experience the single, untouched nature of the Pantanal with all its facets here behind the kilometre item 67 of the Transpantaneira, direction Porto Jofre.
4th to 5th day: PANTANAL – Pousada Rio Claro or other Lodge
Lodge lusted prolongation for lunch journey along the Transpantaneira to this one in the Pantanal (possible). You can see the first animal and plant species already along the Transpantaneira. Stops short depending on time of arrival for the observation and for taking a photograph of the animals. Refreshing after arrival on the Pousada Rio Claro room occupancy and opportunity of these. 6th day: PANTANAL - Chapada dos Guimarães
After the breakfast an excursion to the near situated woods and the surroundings of the Pousada starts to the Beobachung of the flora and fauna in the Pantanal, a riding tour is also possible depending on wish. After lunch journey into the Chapada dos Guimarães in a completely different nature. Observation of the sunset of the top of the plateau at the Cidade de Pedra. Dinner in the place and overnight stay in rooms with bath, ventilator or air conditioner.
7th day:
After breakfast: Visit to the national park with its numerous waterfalls; the biggest one is the Véu de Noiva, with a height of 96 meters. You will have the possibility to have a refreshing bath in one of the waterfalls. Return journey to Cuiabá and to the airport. End of follow-up program. Please note that due to weather conditions and other unforeseeable events beyond our control we are entitled to change the program or the accommodation at any time. This decision can also be taken at short notice by the local guide.

Scope of services:
All accommodations in the Pantanal and the Chapada contain full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), always in double, three-bed or four-bed rooms with air-conditioning; some of them have swimming-pool and bath/shower facilities.
On the way to the Chapada a little City-Tour in Cuiabá with lunch in a regional restaurant.
Accommmodation in the Pousada Penhasco or in the hotel Turismo in Chapada dos Guimarães with breakfast (lunch and dinner at one’s own charge).
All transport in air-conditioned VW-busses.
Assistance by an English-speaking guide 24 hours a day.
All excursions by car, horse, boat or on foot.

Beverages, tips, personal expenses. One-hour sightseeing flight about the Pantanal in a small-engined Cessna.
Travel guides:
Our travel guides know very well about the flora and fauna of the Pantanal, know also many species of bird, 24 hours on the day are at your disposal. Of course our guidebooks cannot know all 600 to 690 species of bird or all animal and plant species in the Pantanal with name Latin since it is not a trained biologists or ornithologists. Can on request we, however, provide you with an English-speaking, trained biologist with additional education ornithology. These guidebooks trained especially are more expensive, however, and ask a higher price, are not employed with us either but are engaged extra for your tour. The surcharge for a trained biologist/ornithologist amounts to 100.00 euros per day and per group at this journey (not per person). Please indicate at booking whether you wish such a guidebook!

The best accomodation in Chapada, 3 km away from the city of Chapada dos Guimarães, situated on a plateau with magnificent view around. 36 rooms with panorama-veranda, private shower / toilet facility and air conditioning.
