Puma-Lodge
106 km Transpantaneira, near Porto Jofre

This Lodge was, opened in July 2007 and had altogether 10 rooms this one everyone is equipped with bath/shower and ventilator as well as fly screens at the windows. Moreover, all rooms have two windows for the air draughts so that the heat does not come in the room for standing. Furthermore the Lodge disposes restaurant of a Swimmingpool and one. Equipment runs electrical operated about everyone the environment solarly, therefore is not charged unnecessarily.

From this Lodge you have the greatest chance a jaguar living free, also to watch a puma in the rarest cases. A population of approximately 30-40 Hyazinth macaws which can stay over the whole year and be watched best within the early morning or late afternoon hours is nearby the Lodge. The journey with the car to the end-point of the Transpantaneira to postage goes to Porto Jofre (end-.point of the transpantaneira), from where the boat tours to this track down of jaguars major from the Lodge.

We recommend a stay from 2 nights on this Lodge (on request of also longer). During this stay an excursion is provided after postage Jofre (approximately 40 km) with the car twice, from where you will carry out boat tours to track down Jaguar. Jaguars very often stay nearby the Lodge, however, too, therefore you should never leave the area fenced round alone (without an informed company). One stays pop uhlan clay from Hyazinth macaws particularly in the early early morning hours and late hours of the afternoon nearby the Lodge to which you also can go during your stay. During the day, always are along cycle tours for the Transpantaneira possibly, of course together with a guidebook, too. Riding tours are also offered. The Lodge has very beautiful, typical Pantanal horses at its disposal.
